Welcome
With 13 years of personal guide experience, Cory Woodman's Fishing Adventures provides a rewarding driftboat fishing experience in a tranquil setting on the Kasilof River in Alaska. No motorized watercraft are permitted in this area so driftfishing maintains the tranquility of this beautiful envirnoment, that is of course until the big ones hit.
Each trip is limited to a maximum of four people so your guide to guest ratio is low. This makes your fishing experience personal, which I enjoy and which my guests invariably tell me they appreciate as well. Fish caught in this part of the river are King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon Silver Salmon and Pink Salmon.
Season
My drift boats operate for Steelhead during April and May then September and October. During the months of June, July and August they are dedicated to Salmon. Spaces book out fairly quickly so the earlier you make your reservation, the better your chances to fish with me. In order to make our contact informative and productive I prefer speaking with potential clients by phone rather than a computer form. I am proud that I serve so many return guests. Speaking with them, as well as new guests, is enjoyable to me and it gives me the opportunity to update you on any new developments.
